Old time mexican classic with nice old label: a massive oxidic zinc ore specimen consists of mostly smithsonite with small sparkling crystals in the vugs. On the backside also some hydrozincite is present. No specific mine/locality specified, sample is late 19th century. The label on the back of the specimen says "Zinkblüte" (literally: zinc flowers, or hydrozincite).
